SARABURI
The province covers an area of 3,576 square kilometers.
The provincial capital is 108 kilometers north of Bangkok.
Saraburi's major attraction, some 31 kilometers north of the
provincial capital, is
Major Attractions
Phra Phutthabat, or the Shrine of the Buddha's
Footprint. Two annual fairs are staged at the enclave each
February and July.
Phra Phutthachai (literally the Buddha's Shadow)
is located some 4 kilometers off the Bangkok-Saraburi
highway at Km. 102.
Khao Sam Lan National Park - located 16 kilometers
from the provincial capital on the same route to Phra
Phutthachai, and contains picturesque mountain forests and
several waterfalls.
